                            NEW CHRISTIAN CLASS
Jan 2010 for ages 3rd-6th graders
Mom, why did Jesus have to die? What does it mean to have Jesus in my heart? Where did Gramma go when she died? Dad, I want to be baptized.

Has your child ever asked these kind of questions? Have you ever wished you had some help explaining why Jesus had to die to a five year old? Well, this class is just that! There is no pressure involved in salvation, because we believe Christ calls to whom is ready.  I hope you will join us. Register at this link www.fbcbenbrook.org/children/NCC

Children learn to grow mentally, spiritually, and socially, while earning various awards for achievements in their handbooks.

Every Wednesday 5:45pm you can sign up and opening ceremony will begin at 6:10pm! Come join us

BSG Dreamers – named by our first preteen group to graduate from this ministry is a preteen ministry for fifth and sixth graders, designed to allow students the opportunity to become a part of a community that will love them for who they are, teach them Christ, provide fun and new ways to seek their Savior, and build them up in confidence.  They have monthly activities, camp in the summer, and their own curriculum.

FBC Benbrook’s Children’s Ministry in a Nutshell

The Quest

With twists and turns that inspire your child to Questioning (Proverbs 18:17), drawing them to Understanding(Psalms 119:34), daring them into Earnestly Seeking (Ps 63:1) Him, and ultimately to finding the Truth (John 14:6)of Jesus Christ, the QUESTis an awesome adventure with one goal.
That they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.”Colossians 2:2-3

Preschool:Infant -5 year olds

As your child steps into our children’s building, their adventure begins in Sunday School on Sunday mornings at 10:00am. They will be engaged in age appropriate lessons that spur on their ideas of who Jesus is, what the Bible is, and how to be kind to others. At this time they are ministered to by people of our church who truly have a heart for their age level.

Extended Session and Kids Worship church is a special time for your child as you enjoy the worship experience.

In Extended session your infant through three year old will be welcomed by members of our church and are given creative lessons that will spur on their desire to know the Lord as they grow. Kids’ Worship is a time for your four year old- 2nd grader to enjoy an active age appropriate worship session. Your child will attend service with you until this time is announced and then leaves with our children’s minister. This is available for both services.

Children three years old through 6th grade are also encouraged to participate in our Awana ministry on Wednesday nights. This ministry is interactive teaching for our kids (even at three!) to learn the Word of God. They have snacks, learn Bible stories and Bible words, they play games and just enjoy each other.
