Cell Groups
Location
In the fall of 2008, we embarked on a new adventure: developing a cell group ministry. If you would like more information about what cell groups are, we invite you to read the variety of articles available at Joel Comiskey's website.
Core Values
3 to 15 People
Community happens in small groups. When the group gets larger than 15 people, some members of the cell will get lost.
Meet Weekly
Community develops when people spend time together.
Outside the Church Building
While the church campus is a central and convenient location, nothing beats meeting in homes.
To Practice
The goal of the cell group is not to dispense more information but to put into practice what we already know to be true.
Evangelism
Telling the good news of Jesus in an attractive way and in the context of friendship.
Build Community
Cells give people a place to belong and an opportunity to build friendships with others to share the journey of life.
Grow Spiritually
Transformation is the goal of the cell group, that each participant might become more and more like Christ.
Goal of Multiplying the Group
Since there are so many who are longing for community, there is always a need to create more groups to allow room for others.
